Data Deletion Instructions
Last Updated: May 5, 2026
1. Overview
Dartly can be used in two modes:
- Offline mode (no account): all data is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it and cannot delete it remotely — you remove it by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
- Online mode (with a Dartly account): your account data and any synchronized content (teams, players, games, settings, photos) is also stored on our servers. You can delete this data at any time, either from inside the App or by contacting us.
This page explains how to delete each kind of data and how to manage data collected by the third-party services integrated into the App.
2. Delete App Data by Platform
Android
You can delete all Dartly data on Android in two ways:
- Clear app data: Go to Settings → Apps → Dartly → Storage → Clear Data. This removes all game history, player profiles, teams, and settings while keeping the app installed.
- Uninstall the app: Go to Settings → Apps → Dartly → Uninstall. This removes the app and all associated data from your device.
iOS
On iOS, deleting the app removes all associated data:
- Delete the app: Long-press the Dartly icon on your home screen, tap Remove App, then tap Delete App. This removes the app and all locally stored data.
Web (Browser)
The web version of Dartly stores data in your browser's IndexedDB. To delete it:
- Chrome/Edge: Open DevTools (F12) → Application tab → IndexedDB → find DartlyDatabase → right-click and Delete database.
- Firefox: Open DevTools (F12) → Storage tab → IndexedDB → find DartlyDatabase → right-click and Delete.
- All browsers: You can also clear all site data via Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data (select "Cookies and other site data" or "Site settings").
Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Desktop data is removed when you uninstall the application:
- Windows: Settings → Apps → Dartly → Uninstall
- macOS: Move Dartly from Applications to the Trash, then empty the Trash.
- Linux: Use your package manager to remove the application (e.g.,
sudo dpkg -r dartly).
3. Delete Your Dartly Account (Server-Side Data)
If you have created a Dartly account, the following data is stored on our servers and can be deleted on request:
- Your account record (email, password hash, display name, email verification state)
- Linked social accounts (Google, Facebook)
- Active and historical refresh tokens
- Synchronized teams, players, games (saved and finished), settings and player photos
- Server-side statistics aggregated from your synchronized games
3.1 In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account:
- Open the Dartly App.
- Sign in to your account if you are not already signed in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Read the on-screen warning and confirm by re-entering your password.
Once confirmed, your account and all synchronized content are queued for deletion. The deletion is irreversible.
3.2 Cancel Active Subscriptions First
Deleting your Dartly account does not automatically cancel an active premium subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the platform that processed your payment:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Dartly → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → Dartly → Cancel
- Web (Stripe): open Dartly → Settings → Account → Manage Subscription
Cancel before deleting your account; otherwise the subscription continues to renew with the platform.
3.3 Deletion Timeline and Backups
- Live database: account, sync data and photos are deleted immediately upon confirmation.
- Encrypted backups: server backups are retained for a limited period. Your data may persist in those encrypted backups during the backup retention window and is then permanently overwritten.
- Subscription and accounting records: are retained for the period required by Czech accounting law (up to 10 years for tax records, §31 ZoÚ). Where possible, these records are anonymized after the account is deleted.
- Authentication logs (IP addresses): automatically deleted shortly after the rate-limit window expires.
3.4 Email Request
If you cannot use the in-app option (for example you have lost access to your account), email fratresfun+dartly@gmail.com from the address registered to the account. Include:
- The email address used to register the account
- A short statement requesting deletion
We may ask for additional verification before processing the request. We respond within 30 days.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services that may collect data independently. You can manage this data directly with each provider:
Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, AdSense)
- Manage your Google data: Google Data & Privacy Settings
- Opt out of ad personalization: Google Ads Settings
- Delete your Google advertising ID:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable tracking for Dartly
Facebook Login
If you have used Facebook Login with Dartly (when available), you can revoke access:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find Dartly in the list and click Remove
- This revokes Dartly's access to your Facebook account information
Google Sign-In
If you have used Google Sign-In with Dartly (when available), you can revoke access:
- Go to Google Account → Third-party apps with account access
- Find Dartly and click Remove Access
